First thing first, know your exam board and check out some useful links...Whilst I would always direct people to the news I post on my blog and the various helpful sources and materials I post on FB page…I would heartily recommend you find out the name of your exam board and set texts for your GCSE exams – the school/ academic institution/ centre will have this information which includes the course code e.g. AQA English Language GCSE (8700). The most common boards I encounter are AQA and Edexcel. There are others and their links are included below. Do become familiar with the specification (a document which outlines all that you must cover in the exams and spoken component to complete the GCSE).
